Hieroglifs announces the opening of UK branch

This year the spring will come with some exciting news for our international customers. We are about to announce the opening of „Hieroglifs Translations” UK branch – situated in London, it will offer quality translation services all across Great Britain.

This will be our second international branch; two years earlier company opened its first foreign agency in Bucharest, Romania. Entering the Romanian market succeeded in a major growth of the company – the number of our clients went up three times. Further expansion into European market will undoubtedly let us continue this trend. We are ready to offer our services to a growing number of satisfied customers in all parts of Europe and elsewhere – wherever quality translation services are needed.

Internship opportunities with Hieroglifs

To keep providing the highest quality translating services our clients expect from us we recognize the need for investment in future generation of skilled translators. Therefore, for the fifth year in a row, we offer unique internship opportunities for students in the field of translating.

Previously we’ve had a number of interns from all the major universities and language schools in Latvia. But our great internship opportunities have generated interest among foreign students as well – this year four students from France have taken advantage of our internship offer. We’ve also had the pleasure of having interns from such countries as Netherlands, Slovenia and Spain.

Running a top-class translating company requires much more than just translating professionals. Placements in management and marketing departments are also available and highly praised among previous interns. We do believe in letting our interns get a hands-on experience in every step of managing and promoting our services. They have the opportunity to work with various promotional strategies, get familiar with foreign markets, analyze the feedback, and participate in recruitment process. This ensures they get a thorough knowledge and real life experience in the field of management.

Most valued opportunities are available for our translating interns. Each intern gets to work on a real project, and is expected to translate around 20 pages a week. Afterwards his work is analyzed together with a professional editor, and the intern receives qualified feedback. We ensure the highest standards for all our customers, which is the reason why our interns also receive training in some of the most popular translation software, like Trados, Star Transit, Passolo, Fortis, SDLX, etc. Once the internship is over, our interns are perfectly ready to enter the demanding job market.
